Our "Funny Bones" is a big campervan, ideal for three people. It has the NSW REGO UNTIL NOV/2011 and the legal SAFETY INSPECTION passed at 10/nov/2010. Funny Bones is ready to go.

We are the first travelers in the van. We bought it completely EMPTY in June 2010.

It was a mini bus, so it has been correctly serviced all its working life. Before buying the van, we fully checked it in a mechanic, included an engine compression test with excellent results… It had NEW TYRES. We have driven 15.000 kms around Australia and we have really enjoyed every one of them. In the road we have spent 10 litres/100 kms of petrol. We have changed the oil and the filters every 5.000 kms and it has a new alternator and new air conditioning belt.

We decided to do the campervan ourselves because we have a lot of stuff including a baby stroller, our son’s toys…. (we are a family of three: Carmen, Jose and our son travelling around the world) and we didn’t find any campervan that fitted our necessities. …We hope you like it, most of the things we have bought are new. It has been a home for us and it has given us freedom to travel around Australia.

THE VAN:

Very high roof and space to do some life inside in these bad weather days, but we recommend you’d better go outside and enjoy the nature. We haven`t paint anything in the outside of the van, it is a good camouflage to sleep at certain places you are not allowed.

Tinted windows

Three seats in the front

One booster seat (for a child if you need it)

Australia Lonely planet guide in Spanish

CAMP FIVE GUIDE (The travel’s bible), to know places to sleep for free

A new CD car player/USB/IPOD or computer connection with two speakers and pre-installation connection for additional speakers.

A power inverter to charge your electronic stuff (laptop, cameras, mobile, torch…)

TO SLEEP:

A real queen size futon mattress for three people (you can fold it as you want to become a sofa) plus a special additional thin mattress to get a maximum comfort (two many nights to sleep in a various pieces mattress). Part of the bed becomes a table to eat inside if you want.

Three pillows

Queen size sheets

Queen size quilt

The shelf above the bed turns into a bed for a little boy with a little mattress (our son has used in some ocassions to give us some privacy some night, but it has been an storage place most of the time)

A tent for three people (just in case you want to camp in the Withsundays…..for example)

TO SURVIVE

Big mosquito net. We survived thanks for this net in Kakadu National Park.

The cook is in the back. We have two gas stoves, a lot of things to cook (we are Spanish, we like to eat well)

Big esky of 55 liters (lot of capacity for food and beers), little esky for six cans, dishes, cups, cutlery……Everything is distributed in a way you can cook easily. We have cooked everyday.

2,5 litres water esky

Two plastic container boxes of 44 litres for the food or other storage things.

Two water containers (15l+10l)

A camping table for four people

Three camping chairs

A rechargeable light for outside, torches and a lot of candles to create a warm ambient

STORAGE AND VARIOUS

A four-draw furniture (you can forget your suitcase or backpack and storage them again…)

A LOT of storage under the bed, easy access with different compartments. (Yes, you can buy a 30 beer can pack so save money, you have room to keep it)

A storage place for shoes, dirty clothes………

Some storage hanging from the back of the seats

Four towels

A rubbish bin

A completely tools box with everything you need for the car and the tools we used to build the van included an automatic driller & screwdriver (you can sell it or keep it to customize the van for you…)

A 10 liters petrol jerry can

A 25 mtrs cable connector

A sunshade

A lot of hooks

A sun umbrella

Some carpets to create a home

Some paints inside the van (who knows if some day they would cost a fortune when I become a famous artist jeje, meanwhile there are only to decorate)

I am sure I forget something, so we invite you to visit the campervan

Please call us for an appointment, we are sometimes travelling around, we speak English and Spanish
